I know it seems strange, but string quartet music is amazing. The Vitamin String Quartet does a lot of covers of good albums, such as ones from Radiohead and The Mars Volta.

steel string guitar music is sick too, like Andy McKee and Michael Hedges...

Also, check out Air, Boards of Canada, Mum, Ms. John Soda, God Is An Astronaut, and Yppah, which are all along the lines of spacey electro rockish music. Good for pow days.

MUSE so good to listen to when you're cruisin

Rage Against the Machine if you're doing some big mountain, hucking cliffs and stuff

The Faint

Red Hot Chili Peppers if you're into that

ahaha dude im pretty sure i skied to some garth brooks a couple days this year, didnt work out so well. electro is the best way to go.

Yes, there is a ton of good classic rock that gets me pumped. Not just the AC/DC overplayed stuff that everyone listens too. Grandfunk Railroad is good, Cream is good, Alice Cooper is also good.

One of my favorite songs to ski to is White Room by Cream.

Clapton is great (Cocaine, Layla; just to name a few)

And piano music is great too, you just have to find one that is really good; like the intro song from Idea.

i dont know many people who listen to techno when they ski, but anyway, a lot of reggae i find is only good for chill music. some, however, is reallyyy sick to ski to. get some kya bamba, there was a thread a few weeks ago with all 5 of his mixtapes. thats fun to ski to.
