what is the best mountain to work at out of cypress grouse and seymour paying wise? and at what age do they hire kids at at them?

Grouse hires kids as young as four to work in their sweatshop carving bear statues for their lodge. They don't pay you, but you do get poutine, a free jacket and lodging in the hammock loft under the Theatre In the Sky.

i just finished voluteering at the ski zone camp for 4 days and it was really gay but they gave me a refund for my pass and free drinks all year aannnnddd 40% off food

basicaly all the staff benifits for 8 days outta your season

easy to bus to aswell wich is really useful

^ that didnt make sense you do 4 days in the break and 3 days on weekends in the season + training day

I coach over christmas (between 2 and 6 days) to get my free staff pass, free drinks, cheap food, parking pass etc. I also get paid for the days I work, about $12/hr. Not bad since I use my staff benefits to ski for free all season long at COP in calgary and kicking horse.

oh yeah and in response to the thread I say none. I swear I saw a kid that was like 10 working at grouse the other day. but if you could possibly find a job somewhere else I would suggest that.

I'm chantal. I coach the little kids in nancy greene with the tyee ski club. teal jacket usually, liberty kgb's. I'll be up Wed Thurs Fri this week, everyone come say hi!
