Because the search thing is down for the forums, at least w/ my computer I'm not searching.

So what are good longboards, why and estimate on how much they would cost?

A good complete will run you about $150 (USD). I prefer Sector9 and FlexDex, but flexdex just went out of business b/c they couldn't afford insurance, so might have a little trouble finding one, unless you got a good surf/skate shop near by. Or if you know even a little about longboards you can easily make your own. I think there is an article on how to make your own somewhere in the article section. Enjoy

I ride a Sector 9 supercruiser with kryptonic wheels 78a like alot. Got the complete for $150 then added the wheels for $30

Don't talk shit about a pretty sunset

stay away from sector nine completes. the trucks and wheels are lacking, boards are decent if you are light.

i have a sector 9. it has lasted a looong time but i think it is too soft. I am looking into landyachtz right now, they seem like very good boards.

if you can get your hands on a flexdex...do it. i have one and i love it. i also have heard that earthboards? or somehting like that are good too.

go to silverfish.cc

one of the builders is having a wicked good sale this month. or, you could always build your own. not that hard, and a lot of fun. ill set you up with instructions.

He has already made 3 of them and they are sick they look way profesonal.

I ended up buying a Sector 9...i've always wanted to build one and i had a sweet design. but i'm going away for the summer so it would have to be built quickly and we have very limited tools at my house
