Good length

Is 180cm a good length for a twintip or is that getting a bit long for someone who's 5'9'?

My rule of thumb is chin height...cant go wrong with that..not to short and not too long.

unless your a strictly park rat get the 180. itll give you more stability. it really depends on which ski it is and how much you weigh too.

I am 5'11' and I ride 177s and 178s so i say it would be fine. Unless you only want them for park then go a little shorter.
