Good Knee Doctors?

i am lyinng in bed with my knee swollen as shit from tuesday when i hit it on this rail at a basin

i know i hit my knee but dont know if it bent or twisted it happened so fast all i know is the doctor i went to was not good in my opinion so any good doc recomondations in colorado?

i think its done cus i cant bend it since tuesday

Hewl yeah... stedman. Best in the state as far as i've heard. Eagle county... ya know the whole Colby thing? yeah, thats who he was seeing for his knee.
 
Go to the ER. They will get you an x-ray to see if anything is obviously wrong. If there is something they can't figure it out or see something beyond their abilities they can refer you to an orthopedist. Worked three times for me.
 
^haha which doctor said that? Dr. Nick? look up western orthopeadics or steadman.. make an appt. If its swollen as fuck you def. prolly fucked it up. If you want to check if you F'd you acl... support your upper leg with lower leg bent at 90 deg. and then with both hands slowly pull the proximal aspect of your tibia posteriorly.. do it with your unfucked up knee first. to see how much it moves... which should be like not at all, then try your other one. Don't do it really hard though, at least on the f'd one.
 
^and you can push ventrally too..acutally thats probably gonna give you a better idea... if it sticks out or moves like more than a few cm, its probably torn.

I think the best knee doctor for you is probably the one that excepts your insurance, but that being said, Steadman and Rosenburg do most of the US Ski Team Knees as well as Kobe and Tiger and since you are in CO, you should probably go to steadman. but it all depends on insurance.
 
Making sure that you are in network is also a good thing, otherwise your going to be paying a lot more out of pocket.
