This up coming winter i am going to be offering a SKI TUNE UP' AND WAXING

i would be able to do skis or snowboards

i have many years of experience and hand wax (better than going to a shop)

i

have a wide range of temperature waxes i would be able to help choose

what u should put on your skis. i would also tune / de-tune edges

most

shops around the north shore will have prices from 25-40 just to have

skis waxed! my price is first time $8 and additional skis $5 preseason

heavy coats of wax help elongate the life span of your sensitive ski

bases. perfect for those who go to Willmot Mountain or Alpine Vally

every weekend or those who go out west once or twice a year. questions

a lot of ns knows how/thoroughly enjoys waxing their skis. i feel like you'd be better off advertising within a ski club or something
 
thanks guys im just saying more like ideas for pricing and shit or combo deals not to wax your skis lol anyone know were to get cheap wax high quanity?
 
candle store... jk, but swix.com probably offers like pounds of wax for a set price. a 3 oz. piece lasted me 4 waxings being fairly conservative, goo idea!! good luch
 
put flyers up around your hill and local shops too. I bet you'd find more people that would take you up on that there than on ns. May be a good idea to make some extra cash.
 
you will be surprised how difficult this is. (not the work, but getting the customers) tourists are not likely to use your service because you have no credibility. however if you start with your friends gear and do a nice job you can ask them to spread the word to others in the area. good luck and i hope it works out for you.
 
you should have lied and said you used to own a ski shop and you now have all the waxing machines in your basement. if you do good work like you say it wouldnt be a prob
 
this. but the locals shouldn't give a shit. DO NOT TOUCH BINDINGS. you can get sued if you cause an injury and they will make bank off of you.
