Good Halloween costumes???

What are some good halloween costumes that are cheap as fuck and not really stupid/offensive(like being a penis and shit like that)? Im in college and have no money. I was thinking going to a thrift store and getting the biggest basketball jersey i can find and doing ghetto stuff or taping a bunch of natty light case boxes together and goin in that. Or I could just be a douche frat guy or something?

Just post up ideas here for me and other people.

Yes I did search and look at that other thread...too many people saying be a douche bag or dick.
 
A friend of mine last year got like a sweater and sortof old dress pants and a beard and a winter hat and went as a homeless man, he like cut the sweater and pants to make them look old and worn out, it was pretty funny...
 
im going to be an 80's jogger. walkman, headbands, huge headphones...should be good.

my brother and his girlfriend always do the best costumes. two years ago she was the state of Louisiana and he was hurricane katrina. this year she's being sarah palin and he's being a retarded baby. sooooooo good.
 
i am going as Carl from cadyshack. I am going to stop bating on Wednesday to get the full effect
 
Be a stopsign! My brother did this a couple years ago, it was kinda cool/dumb/funny. Just get a big piece of cardboard, paint it red, and add the white letters and strap it to yourself.
Another year he went as a couch potato, that was also funny.
 
im getting a piece of lined paper from one of my notebooks, drawing a smiley face, cutting out the eyes, and pasting it to a popsicle stick so i can wear it and take it off easily lol
