Have a sony a6100 iso of a fisheye lens for it if anyone has any suggestions. Heard a lot about opteka. Also wondering what’s a good mm for a fisheye lens for mostly follow cams.

Also to add looking at some but saying you can’t use auto focus because I’m recording will that make a big difference? Or should I be fine

i believe the most commonly used one on a budget would be the rokinon 8mm f2.8..they do make an e mount specific lens. most fisheyes have an infinity focus on the ring so you won't have an issue with auto focus and catching shots. if you're rolling on a budget and don't care about quality and just uploading to insta buy a cheap knock off from amazon or ebay, alot are the same and rebranded like the 7artisans 7.5mm, anything from 6.5mm-8mm will give you a big field of view.

yea i'm still using the same fisheye i bought used on here for $100 5 years ago. opteka/samyang/rokinon all make an identical fisheye (some branded as 6.5mm, others 8mm) but it is a great fish

I would highly recommend the sigma 16mm F1.4 even though it's not a fisheye. I have the 10-18mm F4 and its great for video, but it's expensive.

Personally own the 16mm..sharp and fast cheap too

Might as well get a tokina 11-16 for $300

isn't that canon/nikon only?

Sony E mount is one of many mirrorless mounts that can basically be adapted to any lens due to the shallow sensor depth, I use nikon lenses with my GH5.
