but salomon has some stiffer skis. the guns would work well, not sure how long they come

and PEs are stiff. it sounds like u just need a stiffer ski than a longer 1, as afore suggested

Most, if not all volkl fat skis are fairly stiff. Might be a good idea. If not The dynastar Big Troubles are moderate to stiff flex
