Good enough for me?

alright im not gunna lie im a bigger kid, im like 6' and about 215 and i was lookin at some 177 09' volkl walls, im a decent skier but look to improve alot this season so any suggestions?...should i stick with those or try something else?...

thanks in advance

I think the wall is a good choice but get the 185 lenght man, I am about 5'10'' 165-170lbs and I ski 175 to 180. You wont regret going 185 with your size. Plus it will be center mount which will make it ski shorter aslo.

u will break urban punx in half. souch a soft ski. same with t-halls(not any more tho). from armada look at the ar6 or pipe cleaners. from line look at chronics. from volkl walls will kill it. also check out moment reno jibs. alot like the walls just lighter/more durable.

alright thanks man... so walls it is i guess, how bout antidogmas?... id prefer something symmetrical and i dont want anthems cuz everyone will have them... any further help would be greatly appreciated...++ karma too

are you going to skiing all park? or are you gonna be rippin the whole mountain? all the choices sound good so far, def stay on the stiffer side ie. chronics walls Bridges etc.

probably 80% park 20% all mtn...i have a nice set up so far that matches the walls real nice...but i can change it if need be....any other suggestions?

Based off you're location in Western PA and skiing in Western New York, I'd say a 177 would be pretty good for a park based ski. I used to ski WNY and am 6'0, 195 lbs and have historically skied a 176 cm standard mount and currently use a 178cm centermounted ski.

The Wall would be a great ski I think.

I see you ski at pkn pk, that's where I go to sometimes. I think with your size the Walls would be a good setup there. Piper cleaners also if you don't do a lot of rails or don't mind a non symertical ski.

IMO i would go for the size longer than the 177 in the walls, center mount symetrical will ski shorter and with your size thats what i would reccomend, i suppose its just personal preferance but hey its all subjective

I find no issue with my 178 Invaders at park skiing. Same height, and similar weight.

I wouldn't want a longer or shorter park ski, but again, a lot of it boils down to personal preference.

spot on with ski suggestions. also take a look at line blends, dynastar trouble makers and k2 extremes maybe just stick to 175 +

The walls would be a sweet choice man, but as above, head up above 180 for ideal length man. You're going to need all the ski you can get.
The antidogma would be a super legit choice too man. They are a solid ski and the ceramic edge guard will help prevent cracked edges and stuff with you behind the wheel. the 178 measures like 181.

Also look at the Moment Reno Jib too, they would be a bonafied choice, and are pretty similar to Walls but so much more legit in my mind, super smooth company with a straight up customer services department.
If you support Moment or Amplid though, buy direct or from Jibij.
Boom.
Peace

Lib Tech? What about Line Prophets. I have a buddy who skis on those and he is a little bigger than you. Super Stiff and he rips the whole mountain even park.

right on guys, i appreciate the help greatly and ill look into the jibs too, i looked at them before and liked what i saw but pretty much fell in the love with the walls...so it looks like ill be riding a 185, im a lil skeptical about that size because im used to riding shorties but i need a change... alright thanks for all the help again ++ karma for all

yeah i saw the prophets but i think they're a bit too stiff for me, ill take another look at them again before i make my final decision im sure cuz over on the east coast we got a while before any remnants of snow drop

walls would perfect for you

don't even think about anthems

maybe look at moment reno jibs

those would be my first choice

i have he prophets and while they tear the whole mountain a new one, they are not really the best park ski. They are not as easy to ride switch because of the more directional sidecut. Buut i still love them

I think the 185 walls would be a sick set up and you will be very pleased

don't worry about the 185 length if thats holding you back at all. 2 seasons ago, when i was 16 and measured about 5' 9 or 5' 10 I rode 185 salomon pocket rockets 100% in the park. I mounted them about + 2 or 3 from center and i loved them!! this isn't meant to be a claim, just a little example to reassure you that 185 is a very manageable length in the park. especially for someone of your stature ;)
