What bindings are good for park and not to expensive. Do bindings even matter for park(i know makes me sound like a gaper)?

i know, squires are made of legos...

OP go for Rossi Axial2 140s good 14 din binding for 150...cant beat that. they dont look as pretty as others but they work better than most.

OP bindings do matter. OP whats your size and weight? Also ability, how big your going? You staying out east or gonna make some trips out west?

Then we

can recommend some bindings. Not your fault, just no one cares in this

thread apparently.

I will make trips out west and be going pretty big. I weigh about 115 and I'm 5ft 3in. So i guess im small. hope it helps

At your weight, any binding is a sure bet. I wouldn't worry to much about tech specs. Just buy what you like, except maybe Marker FreeTens :-p

Explain to me why you asked if he would be going out west? Are there some bindings that only work on the east coast? Would I need special bindings to go out west? Please, I'm worried my bindings might explode!?!

This.

With your height and weight, you won't need anything more than a 12 din. More is just throwing away money. Not trying to push this on you, but I have a pair of 12 din look px12's that I no longer need. I would be willing to sell for cheap, I'll be putting them on Sell/Trade pretty soon with pics

"Cheap"? Old Salomons. 997, 977, 957 or some S900. Watch eBay and you'll find some for $30 in the next month.

ya your right, sorry. there so sick for 150 tho. im about to buy 2 more pairs. there dont have the durabilty of STH Drivers but they work a little better i think.

It is generally true when talking about bindings that cheap = fragile, expensive = durable. The less you spend on a binding the more plastic it has in its construction, while the more you spend the more metal it has in its construction.

You should also view a binding as an investment. A binding can be transferred from ski to ski, so when your ski dies or you outgrow it you can take your nice binding off it and mount it on the next ski you buy. So, if you spend a little extra now, you don't need to do it again when you buy your next pair of skis.

If you bought a binding in the 12-DIN category, something like a Salomon STH 12 (with Driver toe), you would have a binding around $200 that would last you a good while.
