video camera or regular cam?

Regular Cam

Canon Xti w/ 15-55 mm lens kit. Its around $730 on newegg. Its a dope starter cam, i really wanted to buy one but now im looking more into videography

Panasonic (pv-gs500) GS500. 699 on newegg, dope camera. Check my threads about asking for colors, the 3rd post down has some sick color previews. I may be buying that camera.

I think photography is way more fun than videography. I do dable in both though. I do agree the gs-series are some great cameras though. I prefer nikon for photo though.

do the xt and xti have the same kit lens? i just bought an xt. i find the kit lens is better than a lot of people say and it takes excellent night and long exposure pictures.
