I want to buy a camcorder for this comming season. Can you guys recomend a decent digital camcorder for a decent price. (under $1100)

I recommend the Sony TVR-25 (I think its tvr)

Mini DV, takes stills as well. Quality is pretty good IMO. great nightshot and good steadyshot.

In fact, Harvey used mine to shoot some of the SnoJam in Ottawa. You can download it somewhere on this site. oh, its 1200 CDN

don't even think about using the still picture feature on a camcorder, they suck.

The still feature my suck phrosty if you are planning on printing the pics later. But if its only to be used in a video or a website they can be just fine.

sometimes you can find a vx-1000 for less than 1100...the vx1k is the ultimate
