Yo what size Pivot 14 will fit Wet 183s best? 95 or 115? I’m gonna buy some this week, don’t wanna get the wrong ones.

Ah shit they only got 115s on Evo. Not married to buying off Evo but I do like their price (330)

why would you consider 115s? 95 brakes would even fit the Wides

I assumed he wasn't joking because we're in Gear Talk plus that would be the worst attempt at a joke I've seen online

Nah no jokes here sadly… I mean besides my lack of binding knowledge I guess. I’ve had the same setup for years and they came preassembled. Plus I didn’t care about the specifics of this shit the same way that I do now that I’m older.

oh i'm sorry dude, that's my b

yeah, brake sizes run big. pivots with 95mm width brakes are generally accepted on here to fit up to ~108mm waist skis. by the same logic, the 75 size should fit the 88 waist on a vishnu wet pretty well. personally i prefer a tight fit rather than overhang but in that case you could go either way. there's no 85 width pivot brake that i'm aware of

Nah np my G. Thanks for the insight. Now I can act like I’ve always known it when someone asks me

he's right that 330 isn't a great price for 14s. 200 is an insanely good price for 15s though (15s and 18s have a more expensive metal toe), and right now i don't see any deals on 14s. do you need 14s as opposed to 12s? if you can do 12s (identical to 14s except for din range) i see those for $250, which is an okay, not great price:

right now just isn't a good time for prices, you can find better deals on pivots at other times of year. also keep in mind that attack 13s/14s are always a great price and definitely are the most-preferred alternative to pivots on here so that's a good option

Nah I’m cool with the 12s I guess. As long as they hold me in when I need them too. I popped out of my Attacks doing front flips this year, but they’re about 5/6 years old. So we cranked the DINs at the local ski shop and it didn’t happen again for the rest of the season. I kinda don’t trust them anymore tho (not attacks in general, I just don’t trust MY attacks like I used to)

Right now that link u sent is the lowest price. Idk how much longer I should wait around tho since the seasons right around the corner

I’m 5’10 and 150 pounds. U think 12 enough DIN to keep my phat ass locked in place? I love flipping and don’t wanna eject on the takeoff again… although it did make a sweet clip for the gram

Um yeah dude. If a shop sets them up right you’re din probably wouldn’t be more than a 7 1/2 to 8….

Copped the ones you recommended. Thanks my G. ??

I suggest look pivots with the 95mm brake. look on eBay in the off season, I found my last few pairs of Pivot 18s from random canadian ski shops on eBay that had them under $300. Gonna try the 15s next.
