Rossi bindings are, i think, even made in the same factory as look, but whatever the case, they are nearly exact in design. I had Rossi 100 Pros, solid solid binding. I thrash my shit on occasion and those held on strong. look has a nice slim profile so your skis flex doesn't change much. if you want solid indestructible binding, look into the Look Z Race. Very expensive, but this binding is basically all metal so you can't braek it no matter what. its also extremely light (just an added bonus)
as far as salomon goes, i had bad luck with them, they kept getting real loose on me, so i had to really crank them so they wouldn't.
marker... hmmm nah, they pop out alot, and break. never ridden a pair but thats what i hear from reliable sources.
all in all go for the Look P12, P14, Z Race, check out the Look trouble maker binding too. (skiershop.com) Rossi is also something to look at, same solid design. but personally id go with the looks.
