Hey, im new and i was just wonderin what a good binding for me would be. I would be using it on the candides, and for mostly park, a little all mountain.

I am 6'1 and 150 lbs, and am a fairly advanced skier as i have raced for 4 yrs, but am new to new-school.

Thanks

Peace

look or rossi, any pivot. same binding

It is estimated that at any one time, 0.7% of the world's population are drunk

any of the look pivots or rossi axials are great. Dins and price are the only difference between p12 and p10.

Salomon S912ti, any other 912, the 914FIS(no riser=sweet)

^get whatever you want....salomon bindings are fine if you get the 912's or 914's, looks/rossi are fine too, i've had both

the salomons are way lighter, I couldnt believe how heavy the looks were.

im just gonna sling crystal meth so i dont have to get a real job and can afford to ski, with the way my senior year is goin though thats probably one of my few options

bend the brakes in with pliers.

good luck landing switch w salomons? wtf...? so all those pros who land switch really must be faking it....?

you're a dumbass.....if your bindings release when you land switch no matter what type they are the brakes will bend...if you get a binding suited to your weight you should be fine

Get Solomons. Me sell them at the shop I work at along with marker. Solomons stay adjusted way longer and have more adjustability than just about anything else. Stay away from Tyrolia and Atomic.

Get a light pair of bindings. The Salomon S912 Ti or Rossignol Power 120 Ti Pro are good ones. You can definately feel the difference when it comes to a lighter binding.

For sure the salomons, I ride 914 FIS so theres no lifter. They have the best wrap around the toe of your bood and as for landing switch on salomons theres no problem, the salomon heelpiece is static, there may be arguments against that but landing switch is more solid in that than a turntable heel

i just got p10s mounted on public enemies, adn the brakes weren't wide enough so i had to wait another week and a half while look shipped a wider brake from china or something

i use the look pivot 14 and it rocks. i wouldent recomend any salomon binding to anyone i went through 2 different pairs of s912ti's on 2 different ski's. the brakes always come out of the little metal that they are suppose to be under, and salomon is a bitch for warrantys too

thanks is there any thing else i should be lookin for if ive already got skis, goin to get bindings. u dont need dif. boots than soft flex race do u?

^as long as they fit properly, you shouldn't have a problem with your boots.

My Salomon 914s are brutal. I had 910s before and both bindings just fall apart way too easily. Plus they pre-release all the time.

I have markers on one pair and rossi scratches on the other. The markers prerelease from time to time and the rossis dont. Neither has broken yet though, my rossis are pretty new too. Markers i've had for over a season.
