Hey guys,
I'm looking to get into freeskiing, and I want to buy some twin tips for either the end of this season or the beginning of the next one. A bit about me: I used to skate aggressive inline when I was younger, but in high school I got more into music and couldn't risk injury to my wrists so I backed out of it. Now that I'm in college and can spend an evening or two per week at the local ski place (Greek Peak, near Ithaca in Central New York by the Finger Lakes), I want to get back into the sport that I left, and freeskiing seems the best alternative.
I'm 5'8" and weight 140, and I'm an intermediate skier; I can carve well, and as long as I have balls when I'm skiing, try to be aggressive. I'm currently riding some K2 Apache Crossfires from two seasons ago, and I really want to add a pair of twin tips to complement the Apache's. I'm really looking for an all-mountain ski that I can bring in to the park; the terrain park at Greek Peak isn't exactly world class, so I'd probably spend my time 50/50 park/rest of the mountain.
Any help would be great, guys! Also, if anyone in central NY might be selling their set-up from this season in anticipation of the new stuff next year, I might be interested in buying!
Thanks!
