Post all your favorite songs for acoustic guitar... preferably relatively easy ones that have tabs so I can download them, learn them, and woo the ladies.

My short list:

The Freshmen - Verve Pipe

All For You - Sister Hazel

Purple Haze - Jimi

'Our society places a supreme value on control, on hiding what you feel. It mocks primitive culture and prides itself on the suppression of natural instincts and impulses.' - Jim Morrison

anything nirvana is easy

...an illusion of this optical confusion...

''You don't have to worry about Gweneth Paltro getting naked.'' - Father Kunz

The best acoustic that is hella easy to play are Ben Harper songs,

WAITING FOR AN ANGEL

BURN ONE DOWN

FOREVER

WALK AWAY

and what sounds tight and is really easy to play is Jack Johnson's stuff,

i love to bust flake out because it is easy to sing to, and you can bullshit to chicks that you made it up

'Our society places a supreme value on control, on hiding what you feel. It mocks primitive culture and prides itself on the suppression of natural instincts and impulses.' - Jim Morrison

my advice is this: although it is sometimes more complicated, learning as many radiohead songs as you can will make you 100 percent better than you were before due to the un conventional progressions, and the chords they use. other pop rock songs are fun to play, but to improve you playing, learn radiohead...fade out, karma police, high and dry fake plastic trees, anything from the pablo honey album, and definatly work up to paranoid android.. if your intermediate, you can get em with a bit of practice.

yeah karma police is a good one, say it aint so sounds good on acoustic, and dyslexic heart by paul westerburg are all pretty easy, and sound really good.

just to name a few...

Pearl Jam - Off he goes

- Nothingman

Radiohead - The entire The Bend album

- Paranoid Android for some chalenge

Ben Harper songs are perhaps best acousitc songs to play and they're pretty easy. Favourite has to be Walk Away but another Lonely Day is pretty easy too.

Jack Johnson songs are also pretty easy and try Pete Murray songs as well.

You could try Stairway To Heaven by Led Zeppelin. It's kinda tough until you get the feeling for it. but once you get it you will be really happy!

wish you were here, stairway to heaven, a lot of brand new songs, and saves the day (i'm sorry i'm leaving album) are all pretty easy.

I'm still trying to figure out the strumming for flake. i used to play guitar when i was younger for like 2 years, havent played in about 5 years and im getting back into it.
