Gonna snow a foot on monday!

Snow level 7500 lowering to lake level by monday night maybe . . . isn't it november?? this is like an early october storm, not november. I guess we're getting payback for last year
 
last year was my first year here but some folks tell me that this is unormal that we arent getting temps and snow right now - its california im told, snow should really fall until early december
 
i heard its supposed to snow 11 feet and then winter is gonna get cancelled. straight off the press of freeskier mag.com
 
the 10 day from 2 days ago was supposed to be sunny to but look what happend.. i dont think any forecast over 3 days is gonna be very accurate unless there is a mad stable weather pattern.
 
^my point exactly!!! every storm that like if u look at the forcast from 4 days ago(i don't think u can really do that) but anyway it says nothing about this storm thats coming 2moro

This is right from the weather.com site. I usually get a little more accurate temps by typing in Soda Springs, vice Truckee. Soda is the highest town listed near north tahoe. Oh yeah, I don't know where the fuck accuweather.com comes up with the shit for the Tahoe area. It's like getting a forecast for some random town in the mid-west. It's never even been remotely correct with snowfall forecasts.
 
ya i know i know there always dead wrong^. u know wat i have recently disovered to be the best tho? its kirkwood customized weather forcast. even back like 3 days ago when even the weather site was just calling for "showers" they were predicting a foot or more of snow. and now the weather channel caught up. i just checked the doppler radar. lots of green, yellow, pink, and white headed this way. can't wait to ski, again
 
good lookin out. I moved to Washington state for this season. I still haven't found a reliable forcast. The best I've found called for about 24 inches at Baker. We ended up getting like 50. That's one of those things I really want to know about.

Shit, i could'a told you it wasn't gonna snow, weather.com is playin' y'all for fools. Open your eyes and get in your SUVs and go idle by the lake, we'll get some cloud seeding in at least, because i really think winter forgot to come, it's like that kid in the song puff the magic dragon, because he quits believing in the magic dragon (magic snow spirits)...I have to go catch my bus, Winter's cancelled, tell a friend.
 
I've calculated that we've reached a thermodynamic steady state in which we will only see an inversion under the boundary conditions that the population excitation state is at maximum. We will not have snow for a bit.
 
well it looks like im going to ski in wisconsin before you all in tahoe....

sometime this next week we will have a trail open with a couple rails/boxes set up.
