Im gonna skiing in MI sat. dec 15-dec 19. Im prob gonna hit up mt brighton for some night skiing saturday. Then sunday prob pine knob. The other days I will just keep going to pine knob or the other hills around there, or ill take a road trip up to nubs. Anyways, Im just lookin for people to ski with since I dont really know anyone up there. post if youre gonna be around.

also, what should be set up at pine knob, brighton, alpine valley, mt holly in about a week?

I will prob be at pine knob pretty much everyday...i didnt go to pine knob this weekend so i dont know what they have open but ill let you know tomarrow when i get back.

yeah, i know. It's because of the exams that Im skiing though, since I came up to see my sister and help her drive our car back to atlanta, Im up in MI, but she's studying so I get to ski. It works out cause North Carolina is shitty and warm right now.

If you end up skiing when you have a break in exams, let me know.

Came back today and Pine knob's park was pretty sick...

they have all 3 parks open with small tables in each of them and a lot of rails/boxes with good setups.

what kind of rails and boxes do they have set up?

and anyone know what the deal is with mt. brighton? All the other ski areas have almost everything or everything open and mt. brighton has like 3 trails open with a super small base?

heres the run down...

Big Park:

straight double barrel rail (good size gap on and landing)

flat down flat platter type thing

2 15ft tables (made them bigger)

Small park:

5ft table

straight wide flat box

New Park

3 shitty tables

Flat Down Box/rail thing

long straight narrow down box (so much fun)

rainbow really really narrow box

sounds pretty sick. I hope that freezing rain didn't fuck up too much shit today. Ill prob hit pine knob sunday, mt holly monday. Dont know whether to hit up alpine valley or not.

HAHAHAHAHA alpine valley. you would find better skiing in the salt flats. but if you decide to come to alpine, lemme know ill ride with you, i live about 15 mins away

no. North Carolina gets more snow each year than s. mi. It's really high and we have decent verticles(1200ft). one mountain has a SICK park, prob better than anything in se michigan. check it

Wait pine knob got a new park?? wheres it at? i didnt think we had any room left there?
Alpine valley in MI used to be pretty cool. The park at least. But then they took out our only big jump cuz a kid died on it and put rails down the middle of the pipe. Gayest idea ever!! It was actually a decent pipe.

Knob's new park is off to the way right by Hamburger Mansion. The jumps last night were so small I wouldn't exactly call them jumps but humps and there were a few rails set up I think. They did add a whole new are with this new park an Knob though.

Yea that one by the hamburger Mansions been there for a while but it sounds like you guys have three now. I know of the one by the mansion, and the one inbetween the race hill and that quarter mile run but wheres the third?
Also btw are you one of the kids thats in that group of four or so freeskiers I see up there alot??

So ill be skiing around ann arbor today and sunday cause of the winter storm advisory thing and i cant drive in snow. Ill be at pine knob monday then. holla if you see me, 07 invaders, black bad leuitenant, red a frames, white jacket khaki pants.

i snapped my skis on wensday...so im rushing to get some money together to grab a new pair. with over 12 inches of snow predicted tomarrow im defiantly gonna try.

I should be at pine knob later monday. I got 07' PEs grey jacket white pants and a brown and white ear flap hat.. Ill keep an eye out
