It was one freestyle, it was Meth, it flowed well and was lyrically solid... What don't you like? Can you actually point out a single thing that was wrong with that freestyle? I dare you to give me a time in the video where he fucks up, or address a single specific thing that made it bad. Westwood thought it was good, and he is definitely a god of rap/hip-hop knowledge.
 
flow was fine just the lyrics were so basic and the things he talked about seemed repetitive to me. And even if it did suck, westwoods not going to say it.. ex. lil wayne on westwood.
 
No one can seriously compare what is probably one of the top 3 hip hop groups of all time (in mine and many others' opinions)with Odd Future. Seriously Wu_Tang, NWA or Army of the Pharaohs would RIP Odd Future a new asshole if it came down to it. Fucking Hopsin is good enough to write a sick diss song for Tyler. Method Man, Ghostface, GZA, Apathy, Celph, Ice Cube, it doesn't matter who it is but they would fucking destroy them. ODD FUTURE IS IN NO WAY ON THE LEVEL OF WU-TANG AND NEVER WILL BE. /rant

i honestly don't see what people like about OF. they sound like a small child trying to say as many offensive things as they can and they try to be really controversial to get views. there really not much better than lady gaga.Wu-tang on the other hand are 9 rappers that came from nothing and built up an empire on making good beats, with good lyrics. Any member of Wu-tang is better than the whole OF group. half of them don't even rap they just sit there and suck Tyler's dick.
 
Are you kidding me. The few bars Meth did had more complexity and flow than the whole original song. The only reason they are liked is because they are controversial.
 
im getting the feeling that people only listen to tyler and earl and seem to think that the rest of the group is just like them. hodgy and domo are pretty great they dont rap about raping women or dark fucked up things.
 
They are the new wu-tang in that they are a group of rappers doing something different.

other than that they are not similar in any way.

You cant compare Odd Future to other existing groups and say that they are worse because of how they sound. Their music is something thats never been done before. Its a completely new sound so nobody compares to them in sound.

They both have completely different sounds, they both come from different places and times. You simply cannot compare them.

You don't have to like Odd Future, and you don't have to like Wu-Tang. They are two separate groups and two different styles of rap completely. The only thing people feel the need to compare them for is each others' shock value.
