Golf Balls

What do you guys think are the best golf ball for the money? I've been using Slazenger straights which are 24 for $20 usually. Im looking to get some used ones on ebay so i was just looking for some models to search. Shoot around 94 +/- 3.

I usually use the Nike rzn reds. Just recently got a free case of rzn platinums but haven't gotten a chance to test them out yet.

B330x, Pro-V1 and Z-Stars are usually the balls I play. Z-stars aren't terribly expensive, but the Bridgestone and Titleists are. Favorite ball is probably the B330x tho

Only ProV1s or Tour Preferred.

Nothing else is close. Also I work at a fancy club and just go into the bushes for like 30 mintues everymonth and find dozens

I hate proV1's. They just don't feel right. I really liked the older Nike Mojo, and I also like the RZN.

prov1 no doubt. i only play those when i find a bunch of them though.

walmart sells 2nd hand taylormade buckets. 20 balls for $20. i bought a couple this summer and they had quite a few project a, burner tour preferred in them.

pretty good deal.

Srixon Z Star XV. MY FUCKIN JAM. All day every day. Super durable. If you don't need yellow balls you can find some 5A mint perfect used white Z Star XV's for close to a buck a piece but thats tougher to do in the yellow.

Hop on those if they were yellow I'd have bought em immediately. 4 A is usually perfectly fine tho if they guy has good feedback you just might get too much scribbling and shit on some balls.

I personally need yellow balls just because I am a long hitter and can't see white in the air well.

Titleist NXT Tour's are what I also play since they come in yellow and can be had affordably but I prefer the Stars.

That is not the best deal at Walmart on golf balls tho fuck that.

The best deal is the 24 packs of Wilsons. What you do is remove the bottom 6 sleeves in the box and replace them with Titleists and then put 2 sleeves of Wilsons on top over the Titleists in case they check.

Get X-Out Titleists. I work at a golf course and when I pick the range, I can just take whatever balls I want, so I snag all the ProV1's I want. Referred or X-Outed balls are cheaper and great condition.

I love Titlist NXTs and my dad can get his hands on free dozen ProVs every month or so from his work because they audit (accounting shit) for Titleist i think. I also like Taylor Made Auroburners? or something like that.

Thanks for the link to the z stars thats a good deal, im looking to spend well under a dollar per ball though. I can get slazengers straights or callaway warbirds for around $0.30 a ball on ebay. Anyone play warbirds?

Whatever ball you play the best with is what you should buy.

I play best with NXTs and ProV1Xs so I stick with those. However I'm cheap so I play with whatever is in my bag or find.

Gotta get them proV1s.or invest in a ball grabber so you can get all those balls from water traps that people are to lazy to get

In that case don't buy too many until you find a favorite I wouldn't want to be stuck with 100+ balls I don't really like try a few can't go wrong at that price and there is honestly no extra discount on ebay if you are buying 100 or 200 instead of 50.

Warbirds have seemed pretty good when I've picked them up. Usually when Im going the budget route I need the balls immediately and ebay isn't an option and its whatever is cheap at Dicks so not sure what I'd buy online.

I've been using Taylor Made Tour Preferred balls and love them, but I've heard amazing things about Vice Golf balls. At least the same performance as ProV's and cheaper. I'm thinking I'm going to check them out next year.

I heard of these guys want their pink balls badly and to see if they are any easier to find in the leaves. I don't think any girl I know who plays golf would ever play with me/talk to me again tho if she saw me tee it up with a pink ball even if I cranked it 350 lol.

But the tour model is white only so they aint gettin shit from me till they put out a pink Tour ball.

Get the pro's in flamingo (pink) or are you looking for the cheaper ball?

It is cheaper. Huh.

I just assumed Tour was the high swing speed ball.

Yup. I believe the Tour's are $15/dozen and the Pro's (white, +, neon and flamingo) are $24/dozen.

^ just be aware though that those prices are if you buy 5 dozen at a time. Vice gives you a growing discount as you buy more. The tours are 25 a dozen if you buy one pack and the pros are $35 a dozen for one pack

True. My bad. Still cheaper than ProV's or other high end balls.
