Why do you think they put 'real gold flakes' in it? I think the flakes cut the inside of your stomach, thus letting the booze hit your bloodstream. Leaving one drunker faster.

the first guess was almost right. the gold bits are passed through your stomach and what not bu become lodged / stuck in your liver...where the booze is prossesed so when the get there theliver is like 'oh shit what the fuck is this' and tries to get rid of them by 'opening' more and that results in your liver absorbing more booze so by theory you can drink more if you ingest the gold bits. its a pretty dope idea.
