Check this. the tahoe card is a great investment. Everything's going to be pretty expensive in Tahoe no matter where you go though.

Yeah, the free ticket to kirkwood/sugarbowl alone makes the snowbomb card def worth it...
If you plan to ski alpine more then 1 day, you should also get the Alpine Club Card which has some good discounts in march.
If you're skiing with someone else, there is a 2 for 1 at alpine with the snowbomb, which is better then the alpine club deal...
reno.craigslist.org also tends to have some good deals. I got a squaw ticket for $50...
