so yeah its almost summer in Chile and i just bought a plane ticket to LA so i can go skiing in northstar where a friend of mine is going to be working...so he doesn't ski at all and i'm going just to ski and party like crazy for a week or so, so if you can tell me anything about northstar and how the ski life is overthere and what ould you reccomend that would be sick thanks!!

Hey

This will be my second season in N* ots pretty fun, lots of things to do and a epic pipe.

also just pop into nevada on a night for some epic drinking,

peace out.

sick man i'm basically going to be there to have fun, ski and drink so if anyone want to party and show me some good skiing they are welcome

I'm sure some people will tell you other wise but I think Northstar is one of the worse resorts in Tahoe. It's really fucking crowded, takes an hour to get form the village to the top of the mountain. The terrain is total shit. They get the least snowfall compared to any other Tahoe resort. I never see that many freeskiers up there, mainly boarders. The parking is such a pain in the ass. Really you should just drive to Squaw or something. I know your friend is at Northstar, but you will like Squaw SO MUCH BETTER. I love it, I can ski there for two days and get 24 hours in. Ride the mountain during the daytime and park at night. Squaw has excelent jump lines too. I like Squaw's park more than Northstar's. Maybe you'll get it figured out and have fun at Northstar, but all the times I've been there, have sucked. Have fun in America though. Hopefully this helped.

thanks i really just want to have fun try to meet some new people and also my friends is going to be working and as i said he doesn't ski at all so i'm going to go to other resorts and check them out during my stay so... also do you know how long of a drive is from la to tahoe

Oh damn dude, you're in for it. 8 to 9 hours depending on traffic. you can hit traffic through Sacramento and on I-80 and you could hit traffic in L.A. too. Hopefully you can make it around 8 hours. You're better off flying in to San Francisco or Reno. I've heard Northstar is really good in March though, I've only gone before March. You will enjoy Tahoe a lot, especially since all the resorts are so close together.

sick, i'm going to hit a few resorts and not only northstar for sure, the thing is that i'm flying to LA cause its cheaper and i'm visiting other friends in san diego first so... i dont care about how long it takes to get to tahoe as long as i can ski!! i'm gonna let you guys know when i'm there so maybe i can ski with someone who knows the place...

Oh, that makes much more sense. I would imagine it being cheaper because LAX is a huge international airport.
