Going to a new school, tips?

I start grade 11 at a new school on Tuesday, and I'm so nervous and like freaking out.

I was wondering if the mature portion of NS had any tips?
 
are you a part of the ladies men cult? if not, PM a leader for an invite, it's the mature corner of NS.
 
im assuming youre not a teacher.....

definately if you see a potential NSer do a "how to get to chads gap".. instant friends.

academically i'd start out strong till you get the feel for things and can find out how much effort you need to put it.

but just find some chill kids to hang with, the people around you makes all the difference
 
walk in find the biggest jock you see walk up to him and through a hay-maker in his face. get suspended like a boss. blame it on ur parents. come back a week later and noone will fuck with you
 
just find some chill kids, dont be a dick/annoying, always try to make jokes, humour works.
 
just be yourself and talk to the people you are comfortable with. id start out strong grade-wise. dont do any weird shit or creep on people. be friendly but not too friendly. whenever i notice a new student, they always seem so off in the distance/loner type.

Fuck trying to fit in. You're only in high school for four years. Now is the time to weird people out while you still can!
 
Just don't be a posh and work your way up the social ladder. If you smoke, it's a great way to meet people.
 
im going into grade 12 next week, and when i was going into grade nine i switched to the school i go to now but when i switched i didnt know anybody at all. you'll be fine! just be friendly and open to making friends. dont even stress, by homeroom i had already made friends :)
 
Get a NS sticker in your locker so that its super noticeable. I would defenitly talk to a ns girl based off just a sticker.
 
when i switched schools in 8th grade i thought i was fucked but i am a very social person and people were nice. by the friday of the first week i had a girlfriend. dont worry you will be fine it is just arkward the first couple days
 
Just stay quiet, let people come to you sort of. There's nothing I hate more than when new kids come to my school and try to friend everyone. Join a club/sport or two, let people know you ski (just don't do it so blatantly).
 
Tell all the asian kids you transferred because you're old school didn't offer enough AP classes. Tell the black kids you got expelled from your old school for lighting up a blunt in class. Tell the white kids the truth. Also, wear a bunch of necklaces with a variety of different religious symbols. Whenever you're talking to somebody, pull out the symbol of his/her religion.

This way you will make friends with everybody.
