Going sober for a week

Alright, so i decided to take your guyses advice. I'm gonna go sober for one week to see if i am actually an alcoholic. I started saturday at midnight. So ive gone 26 hrs. alcohol free, so far. Wish me luck on the other 142 hrs.

I've always been sober. You don't need alcohol for fun. Go skiing! If you can't ski, but you still want a rush, then go down really big hills on little scooters. That's always fun

i have often considered the sober week, but have never had one since I was about 15. booze is my friend, we grew up together. booze taught me right from worng and taught me how to pick up chicks and score. i could never turn my back on booze like that.

are you going sober like no drugs or anything for a week or just no alc? I could not drink for a week im pretty sure cause i could fill the week with getting absurdley baked and tripping and sthi but i cant make it through a weekend fully sober.

im only doing no-alcohol for a week. And its only monday and im so tense. I really want to drink.

Derek I have a feeling that you wont make it. Maybe thats cause I saw you shaking like mad when you didn't have a drink though. Its good that you are trying to not drink for a week though.

 
if you can't just not drink, then just kill yourself now cuz i don't feel like having to support your chirrosis (sp) when you're 50.

i have a feeling that you are making this bigger than it is... drinking is great and all... but trust me... after 26-27 hours... your not shaking, your lieing

No Derek definetely has a problem (no offense). I was at a movie with him and he couldn't stop shaking because he hadn't had a drink since the day before. I doubt he is consistently shaking of feeling tense, but he probably is sometimes.
