going rate for raw footage

ANybody who has sold video or knows something of it..... a friend and I produced a video from last season at Ripley and Mt. Bohemia (UP Michigan repreSENT), and the guy who runs Bohemia is interested in buying some of our shots. Having never sold footage before, I figured someone on here could give me a rough estimate ($/min) of what to ask for. Shit's hot, it's definitely better than anything they have on their infomercial right now, so that may be a factor too. Anyway, any good info would be much appreciated.

or just don't be a dick. I mean yur lucky enough to have your ski hill actually imbrasing the newschool and you have a chance to make a commercial thing so people get to see you on tv and it's like an advertisment for our sport so just be nice and don't charge a ton because they might not even want it if it is that expensive and instead they will just show old guys hot dogging in 1 pieces

How long of a segment are they using?If its like only one shot,then like $30 sounds good to me. If they are using like all of it....that's something else.

If your stuff is that good, I would straight up ask pretty high. A pretty cheap offer (you say this is for an infomercial? tv?) is $15/sec for something that is aired locally on tv. Course, you don't wanna scare em away and then you got nuthin and noone is watchin your stuff.

yeah, normally i'd be with weazable, but I don't care about getting exposure, we already got that with the movie, and it's not new school, the shots they want are cliff drops, steeps, mountain goat shit.... the difference is that what we have looks good, and what they have is terrible. they need a bad-ass commercial to go with their bad-ass terrain and hardcore rep. So what it boils down to is i want to charge them what it's worth....i got no special love for their cause.
