Going pro?

i heard that black people have an extra muscle in their leg. no lie and i dont think the people were lieing either. i just hope i dont make an idiot outta myself cuz i've told so many people that too.

theres a small muscle in your calf that some people have and others don't. I didn't learn if it varied within races or what, but that would kind of make sense.

There is still a lot of natural talent there, like, the natural ability for your body to take that many mpw. Myself for instance, I weight trained for running and worked my ass off to improve. Hit 70ish mpw and stress fractured both femurs. Its a huge combination and a hundred and one factors that plays into that sport. The thing about running, compared to like Soccer for example. Soccer would be incredibly hard to go pro, especially because of its worldwide fame. If you get hurt or something though and miss a month, you can come back from that without losing too much. Running if you miss a month due to whatever reason, you could have just set yourself back a year or more. There are many hard sports to go pro in, I just think running would be one of the hardest.

for all sports i think you need to be bred, like raised to be a football player. Like payton or Eli manning, i saw a show on them and there dad has been playing football with them since they could walk. For me to go pro in sking would be hard because my parents didnt teach me to ski when i was 3 like most of the pros. I had to teach myself last year, and there are still those little racer kids who are 7 that can be out past me down a hill. Random sports like bowling are definatly easier, not as much competetion. All you have to do is practice. Now a sport like baseball or basketball theres WAY to much competetion.

this might be a little off base but in order to get onto the international competition circuit for figure skating you have to deticate your life from the time you are 2 in order to make it into the kind of competition. and figure skating is mad hard, i've been skating since i was 10 (im 18) and it takes so much time, detication, and skill. like any other sport but i've experienced that the fullest.

eh not really it is pretty tough tho. alot harder than people think it is. most all sports are hard tho. its all about dedication doesnt matter wut sport it is you would have to work your ass off no matter wut.

soccer is fucking rediculous. anyone who thinks that running is the hardest sport to go pro in, probably is just a shitty track athlete in high school that sucks at coordination sports. Honestly i have done both and i can tell you that soccer takes much more natural talent than running.

I'd say nordic ski jumping. Back in 1988 canada sent somebody who'd never done it before in his life to the olympics. Eddie the eagle!

who cares about what sport is hard to go pro in what sport do you want to go pro in

me i would want to go pro in like wakeboarding or skiing or even unicycleing

You can debate about which sport takes the most natural talent till the cows come home. The sport that is the most difficult to go pro in is Motorsport. Specifically, open-wheel racings. You've got to start at a young age and your parents have to be both wealthy and committed in order for you to make it. The cost is astronomical, even carting costs thousands per year.

The only thing I could think of that could come close would be equestrian or polo, again because of the high cost of having a horse.

no way, there are thousands of professional soccer players in the world, and hundreds of skier/snowboarders/skaters

but i guess it is true that there are thousands/millions more participating

well if you consider how many people play soccer compared to amount of pros and how many skier/snowboarder/skaters there are compared to pros, the ratio would be harder for soccer players

thats what i was trying to say earlier, My parents have money but would never let me commit to that. Even back when i was younger, paintball is so expensive when you play alot. They could easily afford it but think its dumb. I had to beg my parents to go to killington for a week. They finally did and loved it, we're going back now like twice this season

id say any non team sport. i mean there are so many good kids skiing today for example, but they just dont get noticed. and everyone gets better every year so its hard to find new people when the bar is always raised. as opposed to football where is you are big, strong, fast and black you proply have a good chance of at least playing for college.

Yea theres this kid in my class who i guess is amazing. He went to florida for the AAU under 14 nationals or somtin like that.
