Gonna be skiing my nordica superchargers ignitions. my only quesiton is how much is having them center mounted going to be an issue?

Going out to Vail/Beaver Creek, and it's never been an issue for me having always skiied the east, and never experiencing legit powder. I've just heard that it was better to mount them back more, and wanted to see how much of a difference center mounting would make it

shouldnt be that big of a deal. I rode my twin tips which are centermounted and it was ok. One thing about out west that I have learned is that it really is hit or miss. i have been out there 5 years in a row so 5 weeks total at breck, whister, park city, steamboat, and vail. and i have only had maybe 3 powder days of about a foot and a half each time. that might just be me tho.

It depends on how the ski reacts to your weight being forward. I've skiied powder with both centermounted and backmounted skies with similar properties and the backmounted ones felt a lot better. You'll still have a hell of a time if you get a legit powder day in.

You'll be alright. Center mounts just require a little adjustment on your part in pow. Give it a shot, worst case scenario just rent some fatties if you're not liking it.

I'm headin out with two of my buddies the second week of January. By the way, anything key I should make sure I bring out there with me besides the basics?

Its cool, nothing there is too steep so you should be fine with center mounted skis.

I rode purple bowl across from the backside of Louise on centre mounted PE's.

It wasn't terrible. It really depends on the length and the width at the tip of your skis. The fatter your tips, the more you are going to float.

If it's worth anything, I wouldn't do it again on my park skis. Then again, it was fucking gnarl.
