you would have to have them mounted further forward than reccommended tho, which would in turn be further back because of how you normally flex a ski. cuz the whole idea is that when they are mounted normal you lean into the center of the sidecut, but mounted backwords they would lean away from the center so they would ski like shit unless you compensated for that and mounted behind reccomended to fix that.
And in doing so, I would imagine you'd probably be really susceptible to having your binding tear out, especially the heelpiece, since you'd be over the front of the binding plate in the ski. Try it on some old skis I guess.

haha, yeah for sure man. it would be crazy if it worked as well as it does forward tho. but that is why it works to carve switch normally because you are still leaning toward the sidecut of the ski. maybe if you just bought some elan race skis it would work cuz my friends are practically just a solid piece of titanium, they are the burliest skis i have ever seen, and mounted with 916s they weigh almost as much as two pairs of skis.

yeah i think that is because they are so heavy. since they are so heavy and stiff they kill crud like none other. i mean those things will blast through concrete if they have to haha. if you look at them like half the ski is just titanium, very little wood in them at all.

k, so i tried them out today. they actually were pretty damn fun. the tails were soft which made it super fun and easy to olly and do some tail butters(well atleast i tried).
going switch in the slush was reallly easy. I wish i had another pair of skis mounted regularly with me, so i could compare.
