Hey, I'm goin to whistler next week and was wonderin if someone could tell me eaxctly where i could find like 20-30 foot cliffs. Ive been there many times, but really just did bowls and park. Never really took the time to tlook for big cliffs.
 
when you go up the peak chair, after the first 25 seconds on there you're gonna be over a nice cliff that's slightly to the left. hit it, perfect landing.
 
the waterfall...and its right by the lift on whistlers peak chair...its the shit, gets bombed out pretty quickly though so get there after fresh snow
 
yeah ignore my post above i was kidding, but waterfall, if you wanna go MUCH bigger air jordan, double stager that'll get you fame in the lift line for a moment. On blackcomb, there's one when you traverse lakeside bowl, right at the boundary line, that's fun.

Waterfall always seems a little flat to me. Head into Spanky's There are some good lines/drops through there. Just scout from the chairs otherwise
 
I have no idea if any of you have actually hit the waterfall.. but there are very few locations on it which you can only go "20-30 feet". The face of the Crystal Waterfall is near the 30 foot mark and if you hit it correctly you will go nearly sixty feet. Fifty if you go slow.

newschoolers either overexaggerate cliffs

or ns.com kids are fucking hardcore and say stuff is small when really its huge...

obviously if they have seen taht cliff you have just pictured and think its 30 feet they have no idea what they are doing.

im sorry if im dead wrong by saying you suck if you think thats only 20-30 but come on' thats huge.
 
Oh.. and I just wnat to say to everyone.. that is Skipp Johnson (known as "skippah" on here) sending the Crystal Waterfall. Yes, he skis.. and he skis well.

There is also video of him doing a near sixty footer off the Curl.

unfortunately I won't be getting any pics of him in the next little while as he went combo "cork five to switch five to broken wrist" the other day in the HL park.

The waterfall shot was taken a week ago Sunday.
 
you fucker!...Im only gonna be there for 5 days. Where you gonna stay, are just gonna ski for 5 weeks (not that thats bad) or work too?
 
Correction, the waterfalls WERE the place to be.

Now they are fully bombed and crusted and sketch.

But all we need is another decent dump.
 
Ive got a friend who is doing a season there that im staying with. Been saving since summer. 5 days is still better than nothing.
 
the best cliff, and easiest access for practicing drops is right under the peak chair, just before you get off.. it is called 'air gigger'. i dropped it yesterday and i left the only bomb hole, other than gigger's of course.
