so i got a couple days off school so Im comin back home to tahoe on wednesday and am super stoked. Im hitten up Alpine Northstar and Mt rose because thats where my mom has a pass to. Ive been to northstar and alpine many times but never Mt Rose. My question is, WHATS UP WITH MT ROSE? do they have some good terrain?parks? steeps??

haha mtrose is NOT a mountain you want to go to when you want to ride parklike 3-4 years ago maybe but not now, the mountain is pretty fun tho. they've got the chutes with a couple double black runs (never really been a big fan) not alot of cliffs, or anything gnarly. Just a fun mountain on pow days, not a very friendly atmosphere tho, when i was younger i would constantly get yelled at by douche bags for the randomest shit. Even got called out for skiing switch in the park a couple times. Even got my passed yanked for skiing out of bounds when i was 13. they suck at calling people back after interviews when they hire them for park staff... cough cough

well considering todays conditions at northstar with knee deep pow up top, mt rose would be epic because its really high elevation

mt rose is alright. It has the best elevation and all, so the snow stays better in the late winter months, and it does get a good amount of snow... for nevada...

but yeah.. it does get a bit of a yuppie feeling since Galena is just down the road from it and kinda runs the place...

im here rite now... and its fucken windy and most places are on windhold. I just looked at were i ski in washington and they got 20 inches in the past 24 and NO wind. God i pick great times to come home to tahoe
