Goggles over or under your helmet?

ballaclava with headphones under it, goggles over the ballclava and helmet over the goggles.

Goggles under = steezy newschooler

Goggles over = tourist carve skier

Wearing under also means you dont lose your goggles when you ragdoll down a powder steep.

lol i dont feel like a tourist carve skiier... i wear smith io with variant brim... i feel like a diehard side or backcountry skiier but now i hardly leave the park

lol.

Also make sure the strap is actually under your helmet and not just on the back of your neck or something.

As for me, I go earbuds, glasses (can't wear contacts), skully to keep the balaclava in place, balaclava, Goggles, then helmet. I find that to be way more comfortable than anything else I have tried.

Headphones, balaclava, goggles, helmet. I mostly started to wear them underneath because the earpads of the helmet would press in on the headphone and hurt my ear. Plus stretching the goggles over the helmet will wear out the goggle band over time.

I wear my goggles under my helmet for 3 reasons.1. I can take my helmet off on the lift without having to take my goggles off.

2. Wearing your goggles over your helmet stretches out the goggle strap (over time and especially when the strap gets wet)

3. I hate ear pads on helmets and i think its stupid to wear goggles over your helmet without ear pads.

Under my helmet i normally wear a burglar mask or a buff with a beenie

goggles over helmet when wearing ear pads and goggles under with no ear pads. I say whatever feels most comfortable do it.

Why can't you wear contacts? I tried skiing with my glasses but they always fogged up so i switched back over

My eyes are really dry and extremely sensitive. I can't bring anything near them, let alone leave something in there for hours at a time. My perscription is bad as well, so the lenses are thick and constantly feel like something is poking my eyes.

earbuds, yowie/balaclava, beanie, goggles, and finally helmet. I started wearing my goggles under my helmet when my friend told me that it stretched out the goggle strap. Also to me it feels a lot more comfortable because my face doesn't feel like it's being compressed by the helmet. and its warmer. Fight me.

Over, so I can put them on my helmet quickly and easily. With the amount of hike-to terrain in Revelstoke and the mild temperatures, it's a one-way trip to fog town if I wear them under.
