II just noticed, my goggle tan has started, wint be gine till late april if im lucky. Last year it lasted well into the summer because of a week in tahoe in the spring. Who else has / gets / loves / or has funny stories about this phenomenon?
 
last year i had the burliest goggle tan ever, and so many chicks were like wtf? but all the chick skiers were all over me at that point

it was pretty sweet
 
well i ski in the midwest and so far this season we have had a total of 4 sunny days that i have skied, and i ski 5 days a fucking week. I dont think i could ever get a goggle tan here!!
 
i get fuckin goggle burn haha. like all inside my goggles will be white, like on my face, then the rest will be nice and red. it looks weird haha.

goggle tans are the shit, and girls with goggle tans steal my heart like yogi steals picanic baskets, but more so because their girls and I like sex.
 
I used to never get them, until i went to PC last spring for a week, we dont get that sun here in montana.
 
i live in the midwest and i usually start developing mine at the end of february when the sun comes out more
 
I got a giro Flint SC, best helmet I've ever had. Supersweet for crashing through the woods and just plowing through crap without eating branches/your knees.

For whatever reason Giro discontinued them last season and no shops have them anymore, It was tough finding it in a medium from any online retailers so I had to pick mine up off ebay for 120$, it's the only piece of gear I paid retail for this season and I didn't have much choice so I don't feel too bad about it. Plus, why skimp on something like a helmet.

wait till april and water skipping thats when it starts to come in some times i get glove tans too
 
i love going to prom with a goggle tan..and that neck line tan haha. it makes me look so funny all dressed up for prom
 
i am also in the midwest and never get goggle tan. i want it so bad. i might just have to go tanning.
 
i dont usually get too good of goggle tans in the winter, but in the summer, i get awesome tans from DH bikin with armor on. pretty funny lookin, cause my arms will be all patchy, and my hands are lighter from wearing gloves.
 
usually i get a good one. not so much last year cuz it snowed sooo much. don't really have one going now. it'll happen depending on the weather. it will really get going good tho in the spring/summer skiing
 
i got a pretty good goggle burn today at Telluride becuase it was bright and sunny in the afternoon
 
yeah they're pretty damn hot.

when I do get one, it means I've been doing a LOT of skiing, because I'm super pale and don't tan very easily. nonetheless, i had one for my grad photos, even though i tried my best to avoid getting one.
 
the sun does not visit oregon often so the best i ever get is wind burn and the occasional frozen bugger
