Goggle Lenses

I'm planning on gettting new goggles but I don't know what color lense to get. Does the lense color influence performance or is it just fashion? Whats the best color to get?

and I was thinking about gettting (silver) mirror lenses. are these good?

yes its all about the performance. in low light conditions you typically want more light to come through the lense so you would want a clearer lense. In flat light/stormy days/low light days some type of yellow lense will be good. At night a clear lense, on super sunny days you would want a dark lense. All companies make different lenses for there frames, and they all have there own names...once you figure out what goggles you want, do some research and figure out what lense color you should get from the company that corresponds to your riding conditions.

mirrored are good for sunny days, clear and yellow for night, and persimmon for clowdy.........

Im probably gunna go with orange-ish cuz thts the best all around and I ski every light condition and two lenses is too expensive

What's wrong with yellow for cloudy? Seems to me that permission/orange would be too dark for cloudy or am i wrong?

Persimmon is fine for cloudy, yellow is better but not by that much. The reason why I have 2 is because I bought fire to start out with and they sucked ass at night so I got some yellow lensed ones for Christmas.

if you only get one lense go with one of those high intensity things, one of those things that are a little tinted and good for all around
