think most of you are missing the real question here. God is mentioned-and the
first thing you think about is a christian god, or a buddhist or islamic god or
whatever. This is a distraction.
Forgetting religion and
perceived notions about "god", the real question is
why do we exist? why
does the universe exist? why is there something instead of nothing?
i mean shit, ask
yourself this and tell me what you come up with. The very fact that we exist
and the universe exists shows that there is an explanation for existence. the
best explanation humans can come up with is god, or something approximating
god. There must have been sentience that created everything. because without a
sentience creating it all, there is no reason for the universe to exist. big
bang: how can rocks come into existence by themselves? how can anything exist
at all without a sentience behind it? without a sentience there would just as
soon be nothing. why the hell is there
something instead of nothing?
your first question to
this might be, "well then who created god?" I would say that you're
thinking too inside the box about the nature of its existence. This sentience
is most likely not bound by time and lies behind the universe.
However i think no human can begin to comprehend what it’s really like. Also
this question does nothing to nullify the only plausible explanation of
existence (if you know another plausible explanation post it up).

of another explanation for existence, lol
hear me out: we humans and all life (and maybe all matter) are all part of this
greater sentience, of god and we (our "life force?" our
"souls?") willed the universe into existence. However this seems a
bit too simple. And there must be a scientific explanation for souls.
If you look at the grand
timescale of things, sentient human beings have very very very recently evolved
from animals. Therefore we still retain many animalistic characteristics.
Examples of our animalistic characteristics are things such as the crusades,
sexual relations especially, and a lot of the shit on mtv. Humans come from
primates whose intelligence was completely social based- knowing who had what
power, who was the alpha male, when to form allies or to defeat enemies so that
you were in the best social standing to fuck the most or best females. Its always
been about sex. If you look at the mtv show ‘rivals’ and ‘real life’ ( I think that’s
what its called) or go to any high school party it’s the same shit that our
monkey ancestors did millions of years ago. If you know what to look for you’ll
be surprised how totally animalistic it is. Our animal traits have been a good
thing, a very good thing, because they’re what continued evolution and made
sure the best genes got passed on. Now however evolution is stagnant because
every human can easily survive and we have populated the world over.
Our close nature to
animals shows that we are also still very stupid. There is so much opportunity
for our intelligence to improve. This is why with our current knowledge any
attempt to explain god is pointless. Every single religion out there fails to
factually explain the nature of god’s existence. They’re not even facing the
shooting range. However I also do believe that religion does a very good job of explaining his existence spiritually-
that there is something out there and you can believe in it. The details of
each religion are what make them more profound and enjoyable.
Now I am going to get
progressive extremist here so be warned:
Because there is so much
room for humans to improve I think the next step in our existence is to leave
the animalistic traits behind and take evolution into our own hands. I am
talking about genetic engineering and conscious breeding. By conscious breeding
I mean that we should start pairing up the reproductive juices of exceptional
humans to make even more exceptional humans. Of course this should be done very
selectively and everyone else should go about love as usual because as time has
shown the regular method of courtship is very effective. Genetic engineering is
self explanatory: manipulate genes so that humans are smarter and more adaptable
to more situations and environments.
A side effect of this
that is forseeable in the future is the splitting off of humans into a “high”
race and a “low” race (smarter and dumber).
The low race will most likely fuss about being getting less of the pie,
but straight up that’s just evolution in progress. The same exact thing
happened to the Neanderthals many years ago- they were ousted by a better
species.
Anyway this would all be
very good for us in the end because smarter humans will be able to understand
the universe much much better and will most likely not fight among each othe and will greatly increase the chances of
continued human survival- like populating other planets and shit.
