for sure... i meant if there was more than a foot id hit the shaft... less than id go slay some rails in gaurdsmens... there's so many just sitting up in the woods... so stoked..
 
yea you dweebs are going to ski....it says snow level falling to 10000 feet. that means the top of alta will get a dusting thats about it.

even if it snows that low its not going to be accumulating. the earth is

a. super dry

b.super warm because its been in the 80s at 8000 feet for about 3 months.

utah probably wont get accumulating snow until the end of september. and you probably wont ski until mid october. so newbees dont get your panties in a bunch yet.
 
way to be a debbie downer.... all of the above facts i do realize... but why cant i just be happy for snow?? also... my first day last year was sept 16th up at alta... with a good foot of fresh... so i know it could happen...
 
not quite a mine shaft... i just call it that... more like a wood wall thats about 8 ft... its a fun little drop to butter around off of on preseason days...
 
dude summer just arrived like 2 months ago if that. obviously i would like it to snow but it can wait. ive still got a bunch of hiking to do, if it snows it will just hinder that. also if it snows too early too it will rot and the backcountry will be a terrible place to be. i want to say the first time i skied was last sept 26th. maybe i forgot about a storm though.

go play basketball for another month then lets talk about snow.
 
yea brethren you all should know what a 10,000 cap is. thats that one fucking picture of the douche snowbird employee walking around and you can see the top of MBX is the backround with the slightest little dusting.

yesss thank you. As much as i truly loveeee skiing. Its still surfing season and beach season..just be patient and it will come
 
yea but when youre in quebec, wheres thers no surfing, no skatparks, well nothing worth it, the only thing ou want is for skiing to come back.
 
dam dude based on all the random ass snow falls been reported throughout the summer seems like this winter is gunna be fuckin major
 
obviosuly i want it to snow, im just sick of the wow look at utah attitude. utah is so cocky.

this is the cold front moving in about 9:45, the summits +9700 feet had gotten snow last night. but now there is snow down low too.
