God does not want me to ski

ok so im 15 i cant find a job in town and my parents wont even discuss buying ski equipment with me

so like 3 years ago for Christmas i wanted a snowboard and instead they got me a pair of demo Head Mojo 80's which sounds good but they had the huge ass demo tyrolia bindings mounted past recomened so i use the Heads for that season. They worked for a beginning park skier. Next season after asking for some invaders for my birthday my parents get me $100. A week before our mountain opens my uncle sent me a pair of 04 Line assasins so i had just enough for a pair of Rossi scratch 120's got them all set up and actually had a good season on them now im 6'0 and they are a 169. And this summer i still had those Mojo 80's sitting around (which are a 172) So i took them down to my local shop to get the scratch 120s taken off the lines and onto the Heads. They took one look at them and said the couldnt take the crappy tyrolia demo bindings off because they had the railtech system that supposedly was permently on there. So that completely blew all my stoke on skiing. then i called my grandpa (who has all the hookups in the ski buisness) and he has a friend that can switch the bindings in seattle (i wrote a note wiht all the details to ahve them mounted center and all that) so my mom takes them over his friends does but i have to wait a month cause my mom was only there for a day. and this weekend she back to some work and picked them up and brought them home tonight and i took them out of the bag and my mojos are mount like -4 BEHIND centerlike they look like fucking race skis.

also to top it off i put my spks on and pooped into the Heads just to see how they fit and i leaned forward o butter (heads are pretty stiff too though so i put a lot of effort into it) and i double ejected and hit the wall.

Now and i attempt to turn the din up on the heel piece (i already turned the toe piece up) and i dont have a single srewdriver that is the right size to turn them up/

i only have $229 and im literly the only one of my friends that hasnt gotten new skis this year

i sound like bitch but after being so stoked on my skis getting mounted, now i lhave a park ski that cant do park and i dont dont have a pow ski either intime for atleast December

wow keep looking for a job I guess, 172s are still wayyy too short. save up and score yourself some invaders or silencers or something like that. try mowing lawns or raking or shoveling or something. or just go around your house and put shit on ebay that you don't need anymore...

haha that sucks man. try buying some cheep skis on ns, i bet you could get invaders or fujatives or something with bindings for super cheap

dont get me wrong i feel for you because i am kindof in that situation right now but i fucking laughed my ass off at this line

"also to top it off i put my spks on and pooped into the Heads just to see how they fit and i leaned forward o butter (heads are pretty stiff too though so i put a lot of effort into it) and i double ejected and hit the wall."

i started laughing at the "pooped into the heads part" and then i started crying when you double ejected into a fucking wall dude!!!!! AHAHAHAHA. i hope it all works out though

the real problem here is that youre 15. give it a few years and things will work themselves out. in the mean time though, be really sullen and play lots of video games and spank it lots.

It isn't a good idea to raise your din just because you eject from buttering. Doing a butter is putting unusual forces on your skis. So your din could be too high now. Just a psa so you don't wreck your knees because that is really expensive.

yeah no mines only at liek 5 and im 140lbs so yeah

yeha i have friends that turn thers up to 12 and stuff its just going to take away your ability to ski after a while

i'm only 125 lbs and my din is 7

5 seems a little low for 140 lbs, no wonder why you flew out of your bindings

i'm thinking 8 would be good for you

sometimes u just got to use what u got man. Find a dishwashing job and do it for like a month and then quit when you get enough money for new skis and bindings
