Goals for next Season

cork 7 and flat spin what one should I try first

flat spin is easy if you can backflip. ive tried many cork 7s and still cant land consistent or clean so id say flat spin is easier but its also probably personal preference

Have lifts spinning with no lottery from nov - May. Don’t get hurt. Be on the hill many days. This would make me a happy boy.

my top goal is probably to get back where i was when i last skied ! i took last year off had a TBI so my balance is probably wack now i just wanna land all the things i used to do and improve my style ! Also hoping to do more backcountry trips & meeting new people to ski with !

My main goal for next season is to go faster and do simpler tricks more consistently.

What are other peoples goals for next season?

Same. I gotta take a break from those slow speed future spin rail tricks?

Beat [tag=256866]@BigPurpleSkiSuit[/tag] and [tag=260955]@AbiH[/tag] (and anyone else who wants to play) in a game of GNAR

Broom Closet left

Corbet's and S&S if I get to Jackson

Some new Forbidden Zone lines

Atonement on some lines I've crashed

FWQ comp if they do one at Snowbird

The spine in Get Serious between Door 2 and Door 2.5

Death Center, I've done it lots of times but it's been too long and it's one of my favorites

Lots of other lines, this post would be way too long if I listed them all

Schmidiots and McConkeys High Line if I get to Squaw, but I doubt I'll get there next winter. Eventually I will. Schmidiots has been top of my list for like a decade.

If we're doing gnar it's on a day with some good condish. As much as I'd like to think I'd be fine doing the icy chunder straightlines in no vis, I'd hate to find out that I couldn't.

Please do, it's gonna be lots of fun. I live in Minnesota but I'll be out there for probably a few months next winter

All day every day ;) If you won't do the straightlines you can make up the points with tricks or something, remember I've never even attempted a 3 lol

I am also lost on those terms and places. ?

Various chutes and cliffs that I've been wanting to do for a long time. Corbets and S&S are famous lines at Jackson Hole, Broom Closet and Get Serious and Death Chute and Forbidden Zone are lines/areas at Snowbird, McConkeys and Schmidiots are lines at Squaw Valley. Here's a pic of a guy skiing Schmidiots:

Schmidiots and S&S look like insanity to me

S&S is pretty straightforward, just a regular ~25 foot air, only tricky part is you have to turn 90 degrees in the air, but there's plenty of hang time for that.

Schmidiots looks almost unskiable in some pics, but in other pics it looks very easy. Partly based on snow level and partly just based on where the pic is taken from. Here's a pic looking down Schmidiots, maybe higher snow than the other pic I posted, but looks easy in this pic:

In the other Schmidiots pic I linked it does look a lot more difficult. It was either that pic or a very similar pic that I saw many years ago, back when I had only skied in mountains a handful of times, that I became obsessed with that line. It's been top of my list ever since. I was not even remotely good enough to consider it back then but now I feel pretty ready for it.

My goals for this season are to eat more balanced breakfasts, film more stuff and ski more however I can (backyard, street, touring, resort, anything)

But with S&S if you crash on that landing, good chance you're hitting the rock wall

I didn’t think S&S was open to the public

I've only skied Jackson once and that was over a decade ago when I had only skied in the mountains a few times in my life, so I don't know for sure. To my understanding Ski Patrol wants to be informed before anyone skis it so they can be ready with a toboggan, and I also heard that they make people sign a waiver before skiing S&S. Not sure if any of that is true, just what I've heard online.

It sounds like the beta on it is that the snow settles differently in there often. I know someone from Jackson dr.huckinstuff or something on instagram absolutely wrecked himself in it this year

I hope their rescue kit includes a bottle of whiskey

Corbett’s looks hella fun, s&s seems more of a bragging right, would love to have a nb 3 off Corbett’s in my bag, but I’m not gonna drop s&s and be the guy that causes it to close
