Rail goal is to take tricks I've had in the bag on tubes to narrower and kinked rails. Jump goal is to do the tricks I usually send at the end of the year but be doing them mid season or earlier.

Dub backy would be lit, and if I'm reeeally feeling it maybe I'll 5050 some boxes ?

can't tell if the joke is that you're so good it's funny you would have 5050 as a goal or if you're so bad that it's out of the question to do a dub backie

excuse my guys for creeping in here, just seen some tricks listed where i have tutorials on :)

just trying to help.

i NEED a backflip but im so scared, i do them on the ground all the time, is it any scarier with skis on ya feet?

it's just different from a standing on the ground, or jumping off something into water, or tramp backy. it feels more like if you did a gainer off a diving board and you had weights on your feet, but on the other hand the jump helps you set the flip so it's super easy and natural. but having the balls/air awareness to do one on the ground means you will have a really solid feel for the trick and spotting your landing

it's kind of a killer deciding when to finally try it or not but if you are ready you'll be so happy you did. if you're sure you have it technique wise, just wait til a soft day on a jump you like (or out the end of a pipe) and go ahead. most people get them around enough on their first try that there's not much danger

don't forget to pop. also it's all in the hips

Haven't hit any real jumps since tearing my ACL. so IG my goals for the season are jus gonna be my favs: cork 3 and a sw 540. nothing crazy, but I wanna at least get some of my jump tricks back.

Truly, dude. In the summer I try to talk about snowskating with my skateboarder friends, but beyond the occasional big mountain downhill or mega ramp skaters who also snowboard at an expert level...

it's just impossible to convey the scale and perspective of skating a giant ski resort. How profoundly powerful it makes you feel.
