Goal of newschoolers.com forums?

I think high post kind-of is a goal, it seems like people respect what you say more if you've been here awhile and have a lot of posts. High karma not as much, at least personally I never embed pictures or videos or anything so mine will probably never be that high, but I don't care a whole lot.
 
there's a difference between posting something you really think needs said and posting something just to get the count up. quality over quantity for me, at least when i sprinkle people with some karmasean cheese.

karma is good, too. definitely take those with very high karma more seriously. but those (like myself) who don't post vids or pics much have pretty stagnant karma.
 
I post to threads just to see how funny/productive/helpful my response is to people.
or to win thread wars like funny pictures/videos.
but sadly Z_rob123 has not had a FTW response yet :(
 
to interact with other people, share opinions, create new innovative ideas. have fun. kinda like the goal/idea/epitome of freestyle skiing.
 
I could care less about either. If there is something I want to reply to, I will, but I will never post crap with the specific purpose of getting the count or karma up.
 
see this is where i get confused, you have made over 24 threads in the last month, i make one and i get ripped to pieces.

so my answer is yes, i believe deep down every high school kid on here wants high karma and post count.
 
whenever im on ns my goal is twofold:

1. to get as many posts as possible, because the more posts you have, the bigger your dick is. its simple logic. if im posting at a furious rate, i can actually watch it grow. im at like 2.5" now, maybe one day i can have a behemoth like eheath!

2. to get as much karma as possible, because i dont have friends, so it helps me not to kill myself if a largely prepubescent population of people ill probably never meet approve of the online persona ive created.

 
i had totally forgotten about that video, it was the video of the week in my office (yeah we're mature)

it makes me laugh just to think about it....
