Go see MSP's The Way I See It ...

So last night was the world premiere at Boulder. While it seems impossible, MSP stepped it up again this year and delivered what I think is their best film to date. From start to finish, the skiing and music did plenty to keep you stoked and you'll wish it would fucking start snowing ... right now! Cinematography was outstanding and there was a solid mix of all aspects of skiing. Wish I had a copy to watch it again - it was THAT good. Go see it, go buy it ... you'll be pissed if you don't.

I know I won't be pissed, but tell me: were there many voiceovers? If there were, how would you rate their cheesiness from 1 to 10?

Other than that, why not. Still, they haven't topped Ski Movie 3 + Focused. I think they never will.

Voiceovers were great. At least a 9 on the hilarity level ... maybe higher. Colby West needs a Hollywood agent. Skiing was way top notch.

I was never a huge fan of MSP movie but this one blew my mind. The park was retarded I'll leave it at that, the BC was dope (coming from an EC park rat), Colby West was hilarious. Out of all the movies coming out this is my second favorite. Breaks my hear to say it but PBP KILLED it best movie this year hands down.

pretty sick movie, bobby brown killed it, and some sweet pow

but i was bummed about there not being a CR tribute

Oh no you didn't! Well, then Sammy is the only true trip flipper at the moment...but I still count Turpin's try from last year as a stomped one. That was smooth as I can't believe it's not butter!

he's trollin and there's a surprise coming out of nowhere in MSP's movie also that's gonna fuck some minds up.

Meh, I thought it was decent. I personally don't enjoy watching big mountain as much as actually skiing lines, etc, so I haven't been a huge fan of MSP's since the Ski Movies basically. I think there was possibly one rail in whole film?

Anyways the park jumpers destroyed. Bobby killed it, along with Gus and Petit. The cinematography was great, but I was a bit bummed to see no big tribute to Arne Backstrom or CR. They talked shortly during the movie about it, but it seemed to be much overlooked in comparison to last year's movie with Shane McConkey.

Well put together movie with some great film work. Overall though I'm a bit tired of watching MSP. The movie wasn't as cheesy as in the past, but still held some cheese. It was for sure worth going and seeing of course, but I haven't decided if i'll go ahead and purchase the movie or not.

No tribute to Arne? Are you sure you watched the movie? That segment was incredibly good.

imo, that segment wasn't really a tribute, i was expecting it to end with someone saying a few words and a RIP Arne, i feel like that would have been a fitting tribute, but that segment was still very powerful

Movie was so sick, 10 times better than Eye Trip.Ingrid Segment was no where close to as touching as Shane's, but it got the whole room wanting to ski with their siblings.
SIP Arne

Triple wobble in Side by Side by Field Productions. That's the realest first triple.

MSP was ill anyway. Bobby landed smooth.

saw it last night at if3, and it was absolutely amazing. without a doubt the greatest ski movie out there. blew revolver out of the water, and revolver was reallly good, so that says alotgo see it, or buy it, or both cuz its seriously worth it

It always needs to be mentioned that the big mountain helmet cam stuff in this film was beyond awesome. Also loved how there was a lot of realtime footage that wasn't slowed down.

The helmet cam quality was insane. You gotta see it on DVD once it comes out. I'm curious which POV specifically that they are using.

Yes! I'll say it, I'm a park rat who don't really like to watch big mountain and pow. But damn, these parts in the movie were beyond sick. Every single rider killed, REALLY. POV was awesome, there was some of the ibggest drops I've ever seen. I can't believe how much big mountain progressed a lot recently.

Oh and jump session was incredible, crazier than X games big air.

one last thing is that the quality of the film was phenomenal. Every shot was so clear and the POV were just as clear. A lot of them really made you feel like you were seeing exactly what they were seeing.
Just go watch it!

BEST MSP MOVIE IN YEARS

Petit threw down like usual, sent some gnarly doubles.

Japan segment had crazy deep pow, best pow shots at IF3 for sure.

All the big mountain shots were insane.

Kaj Zackrisson is a mad man.

Colby had me in stiches.

Alyeska session... triple cork 16 soooo close to landing it!

Arne backflipping every cliff in sight.

HUGE fucking alaskan lines.

I got so hyped after seeing this movie, favourite movie of the weekend for sure!

the real question is, did it have any awful music? because msp vids are generally killed for me by 1 or 2 really questionable music choices. just awful screamo or something.

Ya totally amazing, the vibe was incredible after all the jibber kids left after revolver and everything was perfect. Best ski movie I have ever seen.

the vibe in boulder, at the 7 show, i'm under 21, was pretty lame compared to last year's msp film and to the eye trip premire

oh yeah without a doubt soooo much fun. i was sitting on the balcony, with petit right behind me, i talked to him a few times through out the movie, it was so cool! just a great time and a great movie. couldnt have asked for any more

If I have to buy 2 ski movies this year, I'd easily choose The Way I See It and Like a lion.

MSP was just so ill, they really stepped it up. Aleskya park shoot was just wow. Sean petit yummy. Colby was lolz. The girl and his bro fuck yeah. Everything was dope

I'm not hating, but Level one and PBP movies weren't as good as last year. IMO their park shoot last year were better. but still they were good. So hands down I would buy MSP.

I wasn't super impressed with the level one movie this year, minus a few select parts, not to say that it was bad, but I'm hoping this one will be a little better.

I'm going to the premier in denver on thursday. so stoked.
