Go Pro's as the next pro film tool

Take a guy like Abe kislevitz, that guy is an absolute wizard with a go pro. But do you guys think that with the right amount of go pro's set up properly (settings wise (iso,exposure,white balance)) it could replace these crazy expensive dslr glide cam set ups. A go pro with a 3 axis gimbal seems to be the way of the future, what do you guys think? Will they replace dslr's in skiing one day?

it would come down to preference, cost and functionality.

a smart car will get you from A to B the same way a real car would.

just like a go pro will get you footage the same way a real camera would.

but at the same time there are so many differences that this is comparing apples to oranges.
