Go Pro Videos Getting Really Old

The layout of that forum annoyed me, so I closed it.

That being said, yeah. Way too many people have go pros and are making go pro edits. I'm all for them having fun and putting their footage together, but I really don't want to see it.
 
Go pros are good when you throw in a couple pov shots. A video with all pov looks boring to me. Now when ever i go skiing little kids have them on, their dads have them everyone has one so the pov view is being over used. I also get the same feel with park edits and glide cams the shots are all the same over and over again. It gets old
 
depends, regular edits, yes get old, but iv started using mine again cuz iv been mountain biking and waterskiing and pov looks sick
 
Agreed. It depends how you use it. Traveling Circus used to have all kinds of fun with theirs and it was really fun to watch. Some stuff you just can't do with other cameras, obviously POV being one of them. Its small size and waterproof/solid case allow for a lot of creativity. Most people are just too lazy to try new stuff with them, generally because for said most people, the GoPro is their A cam and that's all they've got.
 
you can 't expect DSLR quality from a camera that is advertised towards being mainly POV. That being said, OP is straight retarded

 
If you wanted you could use a dslr instread of a gopro. I saw a kid with a sony vx1000 or some shit like it duct taped on his helmet.

Aw man I just bought one lol. Oh well, I don't shred hard enough for anybody to check it out anyway. Just something to have fun with and show some friends and family who might still think I'm good.
 
That's not my point. The big issue is over saturation and barrier to entry (which are synonymous IMO). You can't get rid of the issue it created, it's just a new reality. We have devalued our video content with these well market helmet cameras

GoPro's

- are cheap

- have wicked awesome video quality

- durable as shit

- easy to use

- versatile

- lots of cool modes and settings

I'm sick of all these rich wannabe filmmaker fucks and their fancy cameras all up in gopro's shit. come on dudes.

-Are only durable with a case

-Besides mounts they are NOT versatile

-Not very many modes.

I think there good when it comes to pow shots and helmet cam shit for pow but their park stuff kinda annoys me
 
I personally can only afford to buy a gopro so its a pretty easy and durable solution to a normal camera, the POV stuff is alright but i mostly use it for just a quick shot or two which its great for.
 
if you dont like the shitty go pro edits dont watch them

i dont like shitty edits made with "real" cameras either
