Go Pro scratch help

Sooooo on my go pro there is a scratch on the lens. I dont mean the plastic housing I mean the actual lens. I dropped it by accident when I was taking the camera out and this scratch is annoying as fuck and leaves a little white blur in the video. I emailed go pro asking if they can fix it and they said they could not because it is part of the camera. I dont wanna spend the money for a new camera so do you guys know any ways to fix the scratch or make it less visible? One of my friends said maybe take it to a jewlery store and they could buff it out but idk if that works. +k for quality answers!

i had the exact same thing happen, while longboarding, my friend hit a pot hole, crashed camera popped out of the case and rolled across the asphalt. sent an email to gopro and got the same reply. your scratch must be a little bigger than mine cuz mine isn't noticeable on the footage because its just small enough to zoom through. hope you get it worked out cuz i know your feeling right now

Believe I don't. I worked in retail for 5 years and catching people stealing was amazing. Its just an option depending on his morals.

Im obviously gonna tell them there is a scratch on the lens. Im pretty sure they would notice....

you could replace the lens with a sunex lens
