i'm probably getting a gopro in a few weeks and i'm not very knowledgable currently about how to import the videos to my computer and then into iMovie so i can edit them. i've heard some people say there are problems if you put them straight into iPhoto then into iMovie. i have an external harddrive i can use to store the videos if they take up a ton of space which i'm thinking might be a good idea but how do i do that? i also may be getting final cut studio as well. by the way i have a macbook, the regular one, not a pro. is final cut studio worth it? and will it make any of the process easier?
