Go Pro contest photoshop use, how much is allowed?

Basically I photoshoped a different background in since I have no studio backgrounds. I could post the picture if you'd like, the editing isn't totally finished though. It's kinda like a portrait.

So, is that allowed? Or what is the limit for photoshop use here?
 
There is no rules against using photoshop in the contest, we are simply trying to encourage people to be creative outside of just photoshopping a GoPro onto their helmet. If you have some great idea and need to tweak images then its all good
 
there seems to be a lot of cheating again this week. the top 3 or 4 guys went down hard and one or two just went up. I know cheaters will be taken out during judging but its still stressfull.
 
Alright I am granting myself the power to make this decision: Matrich officially has hands down the single best icon on newschoolers. Bar none.
 
Yeah it appears as though there's been some cheating (again) this week. We're going to be taking a good look at how people voted (and disqualify anyone who gave themselves a 10 and everyone else a 1) and after that's done we'll announce the Round 4 winners sometime this weekend. Hang tight.

 
What Schmuck means is, we're going to disqualify everyone but him, and then he's going to use the camera to do a p.o.v. documentary of his trip to the carribean.

Whoever wins should give me theirs, then everyone can watch me ski into things like trees, or possibly rock faces, or the ground.
 
yeah this cheating thing sucks i was 8 this mornin and now im 20 u should be able to vote if u have entered

 
I voted for like 2 or 3 other peoples, but I didn't even want to mess with voting for my own. My friends help me out, and a few other people gave me good votes.

I think it's lame how people mess with the rankings so much. Everything turns out to be around a 5 and the ones who are in the top ten are simply the ones lucky enough to get more 10s than 1s. I think the voting system should just weed out the cheaters and everyone else's entry should be considered. I'm sure some of these people got screwed hard, but you guys seem to be doing a good job making it fair.
 
yea exactly, its stupid. I only voted for mine and the ones i liked (and gave them good votes too!) and have not and will not fuck with others.
