So I got a GoPro for Christmas just like a lot of 12 year olds (im 17). I didnt ask for one because im not the type to do much self filming and never really wish i had one. But, i have one and now that i have one I want to use it. What are any good angles/ mounts you guys have found from experience?

Thanks

shest mount for pow days or in the woods. allows you to keep you poles in your hand and ski regularly than holding the mount on one of your poles.

helmet mount faced up so u cant see ur skis is allright. gopros arent really ideal... i have one and barely use it bcus of its quality.

have a friend film you with a pole mount. POV doesnt usually look good unless youre doing burly backcountry lines, so its best to try to adapt the gopro as a normal point and shoot.

This. Have each of you buy a pole mount and use it to follow each other. Switch out on the lift. It works pretty good. And for the love of God, don't use the head mount. Makes you look like a goon.

just make sure that if you do a helmet mount, do it on the front and not the top. it looks so damn gaper to have a camera sticking straight up from you not to mention it can get caught ducking under a branch or something and get ripped off
