Go Pro and After Effects?

Probably a repost... Could not find anything...

Can someone please tell me what format that gives the best workflow in adobe aftereffects?

I know i have to convert the files at first, but it seems that any format i convert it to before AE, works pretty slow in AE.

Can somebody please help?

You know that adobe premier is for editing and after effects is for special effects/titles, right?

what do you mean?

why dont you just use the files taken off the cam instead of converting them?
